Furio is now 2 months old (well 10 weeks old today technically).

We had his 2 month check up yesterday with the doctor.

Furio is doing great and getting so big!

He now weighs 13 pounds and 4 ounces and he is 25 inches long.

He did have to get his first round of shots. So that wasn’t too fun, but he took it like a man. I think he would have tried to “walk it off” if we had let him loose.

We are enjoying our little man so much. He makes us so happy.

Last night he gave us his first little giggle.

I have yet to catch one of his little smiles on film, but hopefully we will soon.

Nothing beats coming home to his little gummy smile after a long day at work.

Happy 26th birthday sweetie!  This has been a crazy year but, we made it through.  I agree that becoming a family was definitely my favorite part!  I love that lil’ guy more and more each day and I thank God he has such an amazing mother

Happy 26th Birthday Benjamin!

We’ve been through so many changes this year.

Some good… Some bad… Some amazing.

I have to say, my favorite part of the last 12 months was going from a couple to a family.

You’re such a good Daddy and Husband and a great rolemodel for Furio.

He’s such a lucky little boy to have a Daddy like you and I’m such a lucky Wife!

You always wanted to be a Super hero and now you are to one little guy.

I love you more and more everyday and I can’t wait to see what this next year will bring for us. You never know, it may be just as eventful!

I can’t believe that Furio is already one month old.

We were warned that he would grow up quickly… but I had no idea it would be this quick.

At his one month check up Furio was 11 lbs. 6 oz. and 23 inches long.

He is currently in the 85th percentile for his age and healthy as a little horse.

He’s such a handsome guy and we just can’t get enough of him.

He’s already starting to give us little smiles here and there and he loves playing and hanging out on his tummy.

I have a hard time remembering that he’s brand new. It feels like he’s been a part of us forever.

It’s so fun seeing what traits he got from Ben and what he got from me coming out in his little personality.  He loves warm water just like his Daddy, but he loves having his feet bare, just like his Mom.

We get a lot of questions about his eyes. As of right now they are navy blue and have been since birth. Both Ben and I have hazel eyes, but we do both have some blue eyed family members, so Furio’s eyes may stay blue.

We are so proud of our little man and look forward to watching him grow and learn.

I will try to update regularly on his progress and check back often for new pictures.

We look forward to introducing our little man to everyone and creating some new family memories.

In the last year . . .

• I’ve been ‘let go’ from 2 jobs.  One of which I had spent almost 4 years at.
• We found out Nikki was pregnant
• We moved (first time for me)
• I’ve begun working from home
• We had a baby

I don’t think I’ve had such an eventful 12 months, in all my life.

Anyways, this blog thingy should get updated more often now that we have something ( our handsome lil’ guy ) to blog about.  I’ll be making a few tiny updates to the site as well.

We started the celebration off early with Ben’s family by going out to the Macaroni Grill then back to our house for some cheesecake action.  Grandpa Rollier was able to join us too, so that was neat-o.  Ben got some really neat stuff (he’s checking out the new Wii games as I’m typing,  just like a kid in a candy store I tell ya).

Today (later on that is, as we should be in bed now) we will probably sleep in a bit, find a yummy breakfasting spot and maybe do some comic book shopping.  Should be a nice day together, I love those!  It’s so strange to think that we are 25.  That’s silly, a 1/4 of a century old.   One of the many many things that I love about Ben is that no matter how old he gets in many ways he still has the heart of a child.  It’s such a neat thing to experience that on a day to day basis, especially considering the world we live in.  He’ll make such a great Daddy some day (hopefully some day soon!).

To my hot hubby, happy birthday baby.  I hope that every wish you made comes true and that we have 3/4 of a century more beautiful birthdays together.  You make my life and I’m so lucky to have such a great husband!  You are the love of my life, my best friend and the best husband a girl could ever want.  I hope you have a great birthday this year and every year!

Not too much going on here.

Spent the whole summer trying to get our pool clean and now our pump is pretty much dead.  Oh boy :0)

At the end of July, me and the wifey took about 10 days off and went to California.  We went to Anaheim first and hit Disneyland a couple days in a row.  Checked out L.A., Hollywood and Beverly Hills.  Then we drove to San Diego for the San Diego Comic Con.  We took a ton of pictures,  which I promise you’ll see soon.

I got ‘let go’ from GoDaddy on 8/20, after being there over 3½ years.  This has been both a pain and a blessing.  While I’ve been frantically looking for a job and worrying about money,  I also get to spend Sundays with my wifey and I don’t have to commute 350 miles per week.  Now, put down your torches and pitchforks for a sec.   It’s not GoDaddy’s or Bob Parson’s fault.  It is the fault of the current manager of my department, Frank Taylor.  One day, I have no doubt that his incompetence will get him fired.

Anyways, enough about that.  On to happier things.

The kidlettes (Grant and Danica) are back in school. Danica is now in the 4th grade and Grant is LOVING going to St. Mary’s.  He is also on the Cross Country Team.  Logan is still plugging away at Hollywood Video and just got back from a Vegas trip with a few friends of his.  Greer has been keeping up with his music and after a couple trips to California, has made a few music videos.   If you haven’t seen them, check them out, their pretty awesome.

I turn 25 (yikes) this Saturday and my lovely wife turns 25 in a couple weeks. And . . . . thats about it.  We will see you all, at Chris and Nicki’s wedding!

We will try to do better and try to be a little more interesting.  A few cool things have happened in the last few months so stay tuned for a “catching up” blog!  Sorry to be so lame guys.  I know that we have about 2 loyal readers,  so I feel bad for at least not updating things for them.  But, like I said, we will try to be better a tad more entertaining =o)

Even Darcy is sorry!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve updated this.  Been really busy.

November went by really quickly.  We spent Thanksgiving with Nikki’s family.  As a nice change, we actually got our Christmas decorations up pretty early in December.  The last couple of weeks have pretty much been spent decorating, baking and finishing up our Christmas shopping.  This last Saturday we went to the GoDaddy Christmas Party.  Bob (Parsons) always puts on quite the party, but this year, he outdid himself.

He rented Chase Field. Tables for 2,600 people were setup on the field, along with multiple bars, gourmet buffets, a desert bar and arcade games.  Guests included Olympic Swimmer Amanda Beard, WWE’s Candice Michelle, Danica Patrick (and her Indy car) and the Gin Blossoms.  Here are some photos Nikki took with her phone.

Anyways, we are both very excited to see everyone for Christmas.   This Friday we’ll be having Christmas with my Dad’s side of the family.   Saturday, we’re heading down to Tucson to see Nikki’s family and we’ll be there until early Christmas morning, when we drive back up to Phoenix.   See you all soon!
