Sorry everyone.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve updated this. Been really busy.
November went by really quickly. We spent Thanksgiving with Nikki’s family. As a nice change, we actually got our Christmas decorations up pretty early in December. The last couple of weeks have pretty much been spent decorating, baking and finishing up our Christmas shopping. This last Saturday we went to the GoDaddy Christmas Party. Bob (Parsons) always puts on quite the party, but this year, he outdid himself.
He rented Chase Field. Tables for 2,600 people were setup on the field, along with multiple bars, gourmet buffets, a desert bar and arcade games. Guests included Olympic Swimmer Amanda Beard, WWE’s Candice Michelle, Danica Patrick (and her Indy car) and the Gin Blossoms. Here are some photos Nikki took with her phone.
Anyways, we are both very excited to see everyone for Christmas. This Friday we’ll be having Christmas with my Dad’s side of the family. Saturday, we’re heading down to Tucson to see Nikki’s family and we’ll be there until early Christmas morning, when we drive back up to Phoenix. See you all soon!

The most amazing man I have ever met in my life past away yesterday. I wish I could write more about this now but, I just can’t keep my composure. Grandpa, I love you so much and I can’t put into words how much I miss you. I promise, if God see’s fit to let me up there, we’ll hit some yard sales.

Well, there’s been no new posts since May. I figured it was about time for an update. We haven’t really been up to much, honestly. (Sorry, we’re kinda boring.) Nikki’s brother Nathan got married in June, to his fiance Lisa. Nikki and I were both in the wedding. While it was a little uncomfortable being in a tux (dress, for Nikki) in 110 degree heat with about 30 – 40% humidity, it all turned out very nice. I’ve posted some choice photos from the event.

Unfortunately though, the summer hasn’t been all cake and wedding bells. As many of you already know, Grandpa is in the hospital recovering from a kidney infection. He has his good days and his bad days, but he is slowly getting better. Please take a moment out of your day, when you can, and say a prayer for him. Other than that, it’s pretty much business as usual around here. My little lady has a b-day coming up soon, our anniversary is a month after that and by that time the holiday season will be in full swing. Yes, I am already counting down the days. What can I say, I love Christmas. Oh well, enough rambling. Hopefully with more stuff happening, this blog will get updated more often. – Ben

It’s been a little over 6 months and the newlyweds are going strong. It seems like our wedding was just yesterday. If you have a chance take some time to check out our new and updated site. You’ll find some honeymoon and wedding pictures (coming soon).
I hope you like the new design, Ben has worked really hard on it and I’m really proud of him. I think it looks awesome.
We are doing really well and getting settled into our little home. Our little Darcy girl is enjoying having Ben around full time (and so am I). For those of you who haven’t met Darcy, she is our “furry child”. She is a lab/doxie mix that we adopted last year. She has been a very sweet addition to our little family. Married life has been great so far and it will only get better. We look forward to many many happy years. We also look forward to expanding our family in the next few years to come. Hopefully our blog will get more eventful as time goes by, so check back often for updates!
